Description
The SMISSLINE TP S400M is a type of miniature circuit breaker (MCB) manufactured by ABB. It is designed to limit the current and provide protection against overload and short circuits. The S400M MCB has two tripping mechanisms – a delayed thermal tripping mechanism for overload protection and an electromechanic tripping mechanism for short circuit protection. It is available in different configurations (1P, 1P+N, 2P, 3P, 3P+N), characteristics (B, C, D, K), breaking capacities (up to 10 kA at 240/415 V AC), and rated currents (up to 63A). The MCBs in the S400M range comply with IEC/EN 60898-1 for B, C, and D characteristics, and IEC/EN 60947-2 for C and K characteristics. The pluggable solution is specifically designed for the SMISSLINE TP System, making it suitable for various applications in commercial, industrial, and critical power settings.
