Description
The 4″ E type PVC camlock is made from glass-filled polypropylene and comes with EPDM gaskets, 304 stainless steel handles and pins. It is important to note that polypropylene cam and groove should not be mixed with metal fittings. The 1/2 in couplers and adapters can be interchanged with 3/4 in couplers and adapters, but only the threads and barbs are 1/2 in. The pressure rating recommendations are based on the use of mating Dixon® fittings at ambient temperature 70° F with a standard seal installed. It is not recommended for use with PTFE gaskets and has a pressure rating of 125 psi at ambient temperature 70° F. Please be aware that this product contains a chemical known to the state of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm and should not be used in connection with drinking water. It is important to wash hands after handling.
