Description
BoWex-ELASTIC HE3/HE4 couplings are highly flexible flanged couplings in SAE sizes and special sizes for ICE installations. The design features a steel mounting flange available in 16 coupling sizes and 10 SAE flange sizes.
The steel version made it possible to reduce the thickness of the elastomer by 10 mm, making the flange very compact. HE3/HE4 flange couplings can be used up to a maximum operating temperature of 100 °C.
The combination with hubs from the BoWex standard range makes it possible to compensate for misalignments on the drive side and the load side. The coupling is approved and certified for use in explosive environments in accordance with EU directive 2014/34/EU.
Type HE-D – special version with double elastomer to double the torque. Types 3 and 4 correspond to a short or long coupling.
