Magnaflux’s SKC-5 is a solvent cleaner/remover that is approved for non-destructive testing (NDT) and is specifically designed for pre-cleaning before testing and for removing excess surface penetrant. This solvent remover is non-halogenated and can effectively remove oils, greases, and other contaminants from a wide range of substrates. It dries quickly without leaving any residue, meeting the low-residue requirements for NDT and aerospace penetrant testing. The benefits of using SKC-5 include maximizing the range of inspections, application versatility, and minimizing the risk of missing a flaw. It conforms to AMS 2644 Class 2, ASME BPVC, and all major aerospace requirements, and it is available in bulk and aerosol forms or as part of a kit for convenience. Additionally, it can be used with various applicators, allowing users to choose the sprayer that works best for their specific application
