Description
The Roto Glyd Ring® TG3201200, with dimensions of 123.42 x 3.53, is a double-acting seal used to prevent leakage in various applications involving rotary, helical, or oscillating movement. Made of high-grade Turcon® material, the seal ring is activated by an elastomer O-Ring and has a specially designed contact surface profile for high-pressure and low sliding speeds. The seal’s cross section profile may have one or two continuous machined grooves to increase seal efficiency, form a lubricant reservoir, and reduce friction. The Roto Glyd Ring® also features notched end faces and a concave rear face to improve pressure activation of the O-Ring and prevent the seal from turning with the rotating surface. This seal is commonly used in Oil & Gas applications such as electrical logging, drilling and steerable tools, top drive units, FPSO swivels, rotary steerable tools, core cutting equipment, rotary unions, and rotary tables.
