Description
A copper-nickel alloy rod designed for welding copper alloys with a nickel content of 10 to 30% (cupronickel), welding these alloys with monel alloys and welding transition layers on the edges when welding some combinations of dissimilar materials. The deposited metal has a high corrosion resistance in sea water and sufficiently high strength properties. Its main areas of application are the production of desalination plants and offshore structures.
