Description
The Heart Smart AED Wall Cabinet is a durable and secure storage solution for automated external defibrillators (AEDs). Made of 20 gauge cold rolled steel with a white powder coat finish, the cabinet is designed to withstand any environment, including outdoor placement. The door of the cabinet opens completely, allowing for easy and quick access to the AED, and features a built-in handle and magnetic door catch to prevent slamming.
The cabinet is available in two configurations: Standard Alarm and Alarm & Strobe Light. The Standard Alarm configuration includes a no-key device that emits an audible signal when the cabinet door is open. The alarm can be manually activated or deactivated using the switch located inside the cabinet. The Alarm & Strobe Light configuration provides an additional level of safety with a powerful 85db audible alarm and a flashing strobe light on the top of the cabinet. The alarm switch is keyed for added security, and the alarm system is powered by a 9 VDC Alkaline battery.
In terms of design options, the cabinet can be chosen with a heat and water-proof design for outdoor use. It features a highly durable and solid exterior, with a fully gasketed door that becomes watertight when closed. The construction includes 18 gauge galvanneal steel and an exterior grade white powder-coat finish. The turn handle is made of stainless steel for long-lasting service. Another design option is the Semi-Recessed Cabinet, which is meant to be installed into the wall. It features a white powder coat finish, a magnetic door catch, and an arc-style stainless steel door handle for easy emergency access.
